Corrie Ten Boom was born on 15 April 1892 and was a Dutch watchmaker. Her father was a writer and later she also becomes a writer and started doing work with her father. Her other family members helped many people during world war 2 by giving them space in their house. Her most famous book is a biography about her in which she has written about her and her family on how they put their effort during world war and how she found hope during the time when she was imprisoned for hiding Jews in her house. The book was named as The Hiding Place as she and her family members helped people to hide in their house by creating a hiding place in the secret room.
